This is the magazine for everyone involved in the marvellous, inspirational world of school sport whether it's teachers, parents, pupils or administrators. We want to encourage excellence and promote participation but more importantly we want to reflect what is happening every day in school sport up and down the country. That means talking about the people that matter - the children that compete, the teachers that coach and the parents who live and breath their children's achievements. We will report on national and regional school sporting events and bring you all the news, whether serious, light-hearted or the downright unusual as well as talking to sportspeople and celebrities about their own school sportingEvery week thousands of dedicated sports teachers put in dozens of hours of work inspiring hundreds of thousands of schoolchildren into the world of school sport. Add to them the hundreds of school sport administrators and hundreds of thousands of parents who share the sporting delights of their offspring and it's welcome to the world of School Sport. Most of our leading sportsmen and women today were inspired to follow their dreams as school children. Hopefully reading about the aims and achievements of sports-minded people of all ages will inspire the next generation.School Sport will be published in full-colour, A4 format, five times a year in September, November, January, April and JuneFor advertisers, the magazine is an ideal platform for reaching your intended audience. Distributed to schools, sports teachers, parents, pupils and school sport bodies around the country - and with a readership of more than 100,000 - aimed at those people directly involved in school sport, these are the people with the buying power to purchase your products and services. Whether they are sports-minded parents and pupils, sports teachers or sports administrators - there is no better way to target your sports related product, service or event than advertising in School Sport. |
